Simply put, I am driven to help others – no creative wording needed. This is who I am and what I embody.
I think about all the different hats I have worn in my career – marketer, tennis and basketball coach, project manager, analyst, marketing director, advertising manager, board member, brand ambassador, strategist, consultant, and salesperson – and the positions I loved most were the ones where I was able to help others out. Whether teaching a student about the game of basketball or helping a co-worker determine their passion that they never thought they could pursue as a career, my purpose is in helping others better themselves.
I have learned over time that pursuing your passion is only half the battle. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses are just as crucial. Failure is undeniably humbling, but the experience can propel you much further than you thought possible.
I have learned an enormous amount of lessons since I graduated high school. My career path has been quite the trip and far from traditional. I’ve been all over the board; into industries and fields, I never thought I would be in.
My university coursework changed over time as well. I was a psychology major at one point at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), finished my undergraduate in Marketing at Texas Women’s University (TWU) and completed my Executive MBA while working full time as well. After completing my master’s degree, I started to focus on my strengths and decided then to come up with a game plan to align my strengths with my passions.
My thirst for knowledge is never ending. I like to learn as much as possible from every person that I encounter. Volspiro is a company that I have been working on for the past several years, waiting until l I was ready to launch – I felt my program had everything it needed to help others achieve success.
My Favorite Inspirational Quote
“My biggest motivation? Just to keep challenging myself. I see life almost like one long university education that I never had–every day I’m learning something new.”
